Layered chicken breast

I bought too much chicken breast last time, I had nice smoked bacon and lots of cheese at home, with some sour cream. So I thought, I made something new again.

So, let see the ingredients:

1 kg chicken breast
250 g beacon
200 g grated light cheddar cheese
1 pot (2dl) sour cream
salt
pepper
and a glass dish.

I sliced the chicken breast half, because it was too tick, so I had the double of the breast but thinner. On the bottom of the glass dish I layered the bacon, on the top come the chicken breast, a bit of salt and pepper for seasoning.

Yes, I forget to take pictures from the beginning, because I did not realised I will put this on the site.
Never mind, I hope you can see everything what you need for this dish.


Half of the sour cream nicely spread and sprinkled with grated cheese.
The next layer was bacon again, chicken with salt and pepper, spread with sour cream and sprinkle with lots of cheese.




I put that into the oven and baked for approx 45 minutes on 180-200 degrees.
The top should be nice and brown.
You can serve with mashed potato or rice.
We had some home made compote with this dish, but I think it is great with some gherkins also.
