We really like Chinese food, but we can not go out every time, so I decided a while ago to make some Chinese dish at home.
It took me some time to find the right flavour, but it worth it.
Here is our favourite home made Chinese dish.
Ingredients:
500 g chicken breast
1 cup uncooked basmati rice
3 eggs
1 leek
1/4 cup carrot
1/4 cup baby corn
1/4 cup sugar peas
1/2 cup bean sprout
olive oil
Sauce:
2 teaspoon soy sauce
2 teaspoon oyster sauce
4-5 teaspoon sweet chilli sauce
2 teaspoon corn flour
1 teaspoon Hungarian hot paprika sauce (Eros Pista)
or
1 teaspoon hot chilli flakes
1.5-2 dl water
You can add your favorite vegetables, or change the meat, and more flavor to your sauce.
Chop the vegetables for similar sizes, wash them and set a side.
It is time to make the sauce. In a glass, which is about 2-2.5 dl mix together the ingredients, be careful the corn flour will stick on the bottom of the glass.
Slice the chicken breast for stripes, when is done put them into the wok, where you already poured some olive oil.
When the chicken is nice white, but cooked add the peanuts, stir them together.
In the mean time you can cook the rice, bake the eggs and when both are done mix it together.
You can set aside the egg and rice combo, and carry on with the rest of the sir fry.
Add the vegetables to the chicken, stir it together for about 3 minutes. Before you add the sauce into the chicken-vegetable, mix the sauce well.
Now stir it for about 3-5 minutes until the sauce start thickening, don't burn it.
When is done, put some rice at the bottom of the bowl and put the stir fry on the top.
