Savoy cabbage soup
One of my favorite soup in winter time. Really easy to make and it has a great flavor.
Ingredients:
4 person
1 small savoy cabbage
2 medium potatoes
1 cloves of garlic
1 small teaspoon paprika
half small teaspoon ground cumin
1 tablespoon sour cream
2 frankfurter, sliced
salt
oil
1.5 - 2 litre water
flour
Let's make the preparation, take out a medium pan from your kitchen cabinet. Peal the potatoes and cut them in small cubes, do the same with the savoy cabbage.
Put them in the pan, add about 1.5 - 2 litre of water, sprinkle with paprika and cumin, season with salt.
Add the sliced frankfurters and start cooking on a medium heat, covered with lid. When it's boiling heavily reduce the heat and don't forget to stir occasionally. Taste if need more salt or cumin, and check if the water it's enough. It should be more like a stock.
In the mean time, in a small pot add 1 tablespoon of oil and half a tablespoon of flour, mix well under low heat until start simmering. Add some liquid from the soup and stir until smooth. Add to the soup and mix well.
Bring to boil and turn off. Add 1 tablespoon of sour cream or cream fraiche and mix well.
Ready to eat!
